Our mission is to follow the example of Christ, bringing hope, healing, and transformation to our community and beyond. Inspired by Luke 4:18-19, we are dedicated to proclaiming the Good News, offering support to the brokenhearted, and fostering a spirit of unity among believers. Through worship, teaching, and outreach, we strive to create a welcoming environment where every individual can experience God’s love and grow in their faith.
Founded in November 2019, EL GIBBOR CHRISTIAN MINISTRY began as a small gathering with a big vision: to bring the love of Christ to the heart of Mauritius. Under the leadership of Pastor Dharmen Naikoo and a passionate team of believers, our church has grown into a vibrant community committed to worship, teaching, and service. From humble beginnings, we’ve witnessed God’s faithfulness as we’ve expanded our ministries, reached out to those in need, and fostered deep connections within our congregation and beyond. Our journey is a testament to the power of faith, unity, and a shared mission to make a lasting impact for God’s Kingdom.
At the heart of El Gibbor Church is a dedicated leadership team led by Pastor Dharmen Naikoo and his wife, whose passion for Christ and commitment to serving others guide everything we do. Supported by three other pastors, our leadership team works tirelessly to nurture spiritual growth, foster community, and lead our congregation with wisdom and compassion. Each member brings unique gifts and a shared vision to see lives transformed through the love and teachings of Jesus. Together, they create an environment where every person is encouraged to discover their purpose and live out their faith.
As a Pentecostal church, we believe in the full Gospel of Jesus Christ, embracing the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives today. We affirm the authority of the Bible as the inspired Word of God, guiding our faith and practice. Central to our belief is the experience of salvation through Jesus Christ, baptism in the Holy Spirit, and the demonstration of spiritual gifts as seen in the early church. We are committed to a life of holiness, passionate worship, and fervent prayer, believing that God continues to work miracles and bring revival in our midst. Our desire is to see every believer empowered to live out their faith boldly and share the love of Christ with the world.
As the Senior Pastor of El Gibbor, it is my greatest joy to serve this church alongside such a dedicated team of pastors and leaders. We are here to guide, support, and walk with you on your spiritual journey. Our heart’s desire is to see each of you grow deeper in your relationship with Christ and to experience the fullness of His love and power in your life. Together, we are building a community rooted in faith, hope, and love, where everyone can find a place to belong.
As the wife of the Associate Pastor, I’m deeply grateful to be part of this incredible church family.
